Flying Cradle - Sidra Hospital - Doha/Qatar

Sidra Hospital Unitized Facades were formed of curved surfaces with slopes in all directions with positive and negative directions. We designed and fabricated 2 sets of flying cradles each having the capacity of carrying 5 people, small workshop equipment and materials. They had a special form to fit in all corners and surfaces and they were hoisted by tower cranes..

Special Spider Design for Sidra hospital Leaf Canopies - Doha/Qatar

The main entrances of Sidra Hospital were covered by three Leaf Shaped Canopies. Due to the irregularity of the shape

the canopies were cladded by triangular glasses each having unique shape and dimensions. The glass all being different from each other, required a special bracket to accommodate the different angles, sizes of the glass. We designed the spiders above, each arm flexible to rotate in all directions and with parts which can be extended. KIN-LONG manufactured these ""spiders".

Torus Segment Shaped Steel Substructure and Bow Shaped Sliding Scaffolding - LRT Entrances - Doha/Qatar

Lusail Light Rail Transit (LRT) stations had armadillo shaped forms that fitted a horizontally sliced vertical torus. The steel substructure was designed and manufactured by us and followed the same design. We also designed and fabricated a special bow-shaped sliding scaffolding to install secondary steel and cladding above the substructure.

Bow Shaped Sliding Scaffolding - LRT Entrances - Doha/Qatar

This is the illustration of the bow shaped sliding scaffolding. In each entrance, two of them were used. The scaffolding was made of two extendable halves, and hinged at the bottom part so the scaffolding was able to fit different radial sections of the armadillo form. They were sliding on two parallel rails at two sides with bottom carts having counter balances.

Torus Segment Shaped Steel Substructure

Above is the 3D illustration of Steel Structure for LRT Entrances, You can observe the constraints from Torus geometry. All the steel elements have different radius and special brackets and shear blocks attaching one to another.

Fabric and Mesh Cladding wih Metal Substructure - Oasis Entertainment Towers - Doha/Qatar

OASIS towers were constructed to have an amusement train go vertically at ends of its rail. The towers were cladded to conceal the steel structure, maintenance platforms and mechanical installations. The cladding was composed of, from outside to inside wire mesh, secondary steel structure and fabric mesh designed supplied and fabricated by US.

Secondary Steel Structures - MOFA Building Envelope - Riyadh/ Saudi Arabia

Ministry of Foreign Affairs additional building was constructed with slabs and columns being concrete structure, walls being secondary steel structure cladded with wall insulation, lining panels. vapor barrier, mechanically fixed Riyadh stone. The Riyadh stone, fenestration and steel structure was all fallowing an equal basic trapezoidal diagrid. Light openings were made of various sized pyramids with two sides open to let in light, being inward or outward depending on their location. The whole envelope including its substructure, lining, insulation, stone cladding and window-curtainwall systems were designed, fabricated and installed by us.

Air Vents - Meeza Data Center - Doha/Qatar

Meeza Data Center thrust Qatar into 5G network, cloud services and data vaults with immense capacities. Due to the enormous energy consumption in the establishment, byproduct heat has to be exhausted and system has to be cooled through the above giant air-vents. These air-vents were made of orange peel shaped unitized aluminum panels. 12 of these, including their substructures, were designed, fabricated and installed by us in 21 days.
